Farewell

Oh honey, If only you knew. If only I could say the words that hide before my teeth. If only I could show you the truth... Oh honey, I did love you. I would've died for you, I should've been there, I should've spoken my mind. But this is no nightmare, is the simplest form of love after seeing everything die. Is the farewell of the dream that couldn't be. It's my goodbye to your heart. I promise you I won't forget. Never my memories erase. But I must leave you now, for you to find your own love in someone else's smile. I should be happy if you are, but I can't be a witness. I can't send you off to someone who doesn't deserve you.
